CaroVail is looking to fill a full- time position in our agricultural warehouse in Oriskany Falls, NY. Candidates must maintain a respectful and ethical work environment. Applicants must have the ability to learn new skills and stay SAFE.
Job Functions:
- Complete various tasks safely and efficiently
- Assisting in receiving and and unloading incoming and outgoing shipments
- Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
- Must be able to follow all instructions from the plant manager and help with facility maintenance
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Must be accountable
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment
- Ability to work in a fast – paced environment and meet productivity goals
- Excellent organizational skills to effectively manage inventory
- Basic math skills for counting, sorting, and verifying inventory
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally 80 pounds
- Familiarity with warehouse safety, procedures, and protocols. Must maintain a clean environment
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid drivers license
- Ability to operate or willing to learn to operate a forklift
- Have a good work ethic and be a team player
- Flexible schedule and the ability to work additional hours when necessary (half day Saturday’s from April – June)
